I started lisa b. in 1997 to recapture the timeless simplicity I grew up with in small-town Pennsylvania. After working for several large companies in metropolitan New York, I began to realize how fast-paced life had become. I made the decision to move back to rural Pennsylvania with my husband, to live in a bucolic place, catch my breath, and pursue my dream of starting my own business.I embrace Leonardo da Vinci’s philosophy that: “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” I design each of my products to look beautiful, feel amazing, and serve a purpose in the lives of my customers. My designs combine city sophistication with good old fashioned integrity.
Like a garden full of surprises, lisa b. always offers something fresh. My collections evolve organically, so one season may see a large variety of socks, and the next season a crop of fabulous sandals.
