late summer with Emma & Charlotte Kohlmann

Late summer has come and gone too quickly. As we head into the inevitable cool temps of fall, I thought it would be fun and refreshing to switch things up, and see lisa b. from a different vantage. So I sent a box of clogs, socks, and tees to sister soulmates Emma and Charlotte Kohlmann. Their fanciful take on lisa b. is a delight!

I was moved by Emma's Instagram post of her and Charlotte as young girls, all hugs and smiles. You could just feel their love for each other through that image, and it was just the daily dose of joy I needed. I knew then that Emma and Charlotte should be the first in this new series that captures the essence of late summer lallygagging, always better when done with your best friend.

Both Emma and Charlotte are accomplished artists, and they collaborate often. Most recently on the project Prints For You & Me, a fundraiser of 5 prints meant to inspire activism during the pandemic. They have already raised over $20K for a handful of local grassroots organizations, but more prints are available for purchase. Please check it out!

It's such a treat and honor to be invited into Emma and Charlotte's world and experience their take on lisa b. classics sprinkled in with their own personal styles. Their unique touch of whimsy and charm is a breath of fresh air, and their bond and affection for one another is undeniable and so sweet to witness.
