Wool Cashmere Socks 2020-2021

Mankind has always looked to mother nature for calm and inspiration. This year it seemed more needed than ever so we’ve harvested a few of her choicest colors for our latest wool and cashmere socks — apple green, squash, hydrangea and camel. Look for them on these pages alongside many other time-tested favorite colors.

Settle in with us now for the shorter days and cooler temps ahead with our cozy socks, sturdy clogs and super comfy slippers.

necessity: the mother of invention

Photo sessions in 2020 present challenges previously unknown. Restrictions due to required precautions and social distancing call for a full rethink of how to do things. We’re so grateful to sisters Emma and Charlotte Kohlmann who literally “phoned in” the job. We sent lisa b. product to their home in Massachusetts where they were free not only to style themselves however they pleased, but photograph each other with cell phones. A fresh approach if ever there was, we just love the results. We also appreciate Armand Silvani for being in a couple of shots for us as we photographed our socks, clogs and slippers outdoors at his house in New York.

Lastly, thank you Nick Paton for your always spot-on photography and commitment to whatever project we dream up.
