Inspiration

It can come to you in the strangest and most unrelated forms. Take for instance what inspired our cotton sock collection. We were exhibiting at a trade show a few years ago and while walking the aisles I stumbled across the brand Petites Pommes. They make classic pool floats and pool accessories and I love absolutely everything about them! Their origin story, their brand philosophy, their marketing campaigns and most importantly…their pool floats and accessories! I have been particularly obsessed with the pool floats since then. So much so, that I drew from some of their color combinations to create our cotton sock color palette.

I have been trying to justify buying a few floats (because they are so much fun and I need to own some) but living in rural Pennsylvania with no access to a pool other than my local Y, the justification has been a little bit beyond my reach. Until this season, when we were able to incorporate one into our latest photoshoot, pictures below, and it won’t be the last time. They also make snow tubes! I am definitely planning a winter shoot with those paired with our wool cashmere Fair Isle socks... Stay tuned!

And, PP if you see this, let’s make some socks together. I think we'd make the “perfect pair”...
