We've done quite a few photo shoots over the years. Hands down, my all time favorite was when we photographed our socks on the girls from Ballet Northeast. I will never forget the moment these lovely, dedicated, talented young women in the classic black leotards, layered our socks over their pale pink tights and walked onto the studio floor to start class. The scene brought me to tears. I looked over at my photographer A. Greg Raymond, who looked stunned. He literally reeled backward a few steps. The music started, the girls began working through positions the instructor called out, Greg started snapping away and I watched in awe. These girls brought our socks to life!

I loved the catalog that we put together from that shoot back in 2010 and was thinking about putting some of the images up on the site in a lookbook format. But, then we got the brilliant idea that it might be more fun to share these images in the launch of our blog, lisa b. loves. We hope you love them as much as we do! Oh, and while we're on the topic don't forget it's Nutcracker Ballet season. Another one of our loves...Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker Suite should not be missed. Whether it's performed by The New York City Ballet or your local ballet company. Treat yourself and your family and go enjoy the magic.
